Transportes Dubon LLC owner, Tyrone Donnell Shields, have committed his life to providing selfless service to his country and his clients. Tyrone established Transportes Dubon LLC in 2009 with his wife Francia Dubon-Shields. Tyrone’s selfless service, commitment and dedication to his clients stems from his military background. Serving over 20 plus years in the United States Army, Tyrone honorable served in High Profile Positions allowing him to build the necessary skills and fast decision making needed in the fast-moving Trucking and Logistical Operations World. Tyrone military experience includes but not limited to the following:
Product Manager
Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation. Responsible For managing 48 acquisition efforts funded in excess of $600M over the Program Objective Memorandum (POM), supervising over 44 DA Government Civilians, 8 Engineer’s and 10 SETA personnel. Directly responsible for executing the life-cycle management, material development, acquisition, testing, production, fielding, initial support, and product improvements for the Common Driver Training Program.
Executive Officer for United States Program Executive Office
Responsible for DA Government Civilians and Contract Acquisition Professionals as the Executive Officer. Executed life-cycle management, material development, acquisition, testing, production, fielding, initial support and product improvements for multiple direct and support mission programs. Managed cost, schedule and performance for assigned projects and life-cycle program management for combat and non-combat virtual training systems valued at approximately 180M in resources. Coordinated with Senior Acquisition Leadership in Washington DC (The Hill), Stockholder’s, and Industry partners.
Company Commander
Aviation Regiment Fort Eustis, Virginia. As the Company Commander, was overall responsible for the health, welfare, training and moral of over 1600 soldier's, 5 Officer's, 17 Non-Commissioned Officers and 8 DA Government Civilians. Developed strategic policies and procedures, implemented training schedules, ensured the units physical readiness, and maintained accountability of property and equipment valued in excess of 45M.
Air Mission Commander
America Drug Interdiction Mission. Responsible for coordinating, planning, and executing day and night air operations. Directly coordinated with Host Nation Executive Leadership, US Embassy, DEA, Special Drug Enforcement Task Force Units and briefed daily risk assessments as it related to Intelligent Threat Briefs (ITBs). As the Air Mission Commander, Tyrone managed 8 CH47D Helicopters crews, 4 Black Hawks Helicopters crews, 30 Host Nation Guatemala and Honduras Special Operation Soldier's and work directly with DEA to support combined efforts while overseeing a $30M operational budget. As the Air Mission Commander, he seized over $500M in illegal drugs, money, and weapons while detaining and prosecuting some of the world's most dangerous Cartel Drug Lords.
